What is the AVID Academy?

The AVID Academy is a soccer program that focuses on the training and development of coed youth in the U-8 (2016) and U-7 (2017) age groups. U-6 players may be considered case by case. The developmental curriculum focuses on dribbling, turning, passing, receiving, and running with the ball. Basic concepts are applied in small-sided drills and inter-academy scrimmages. The academy environment is fun and positive to foster every player’s love for the game!

When is the Academy?

The AVID Academy runs for six months from October through December and then April through June. During each “semester”, the academy will meet twice a week for 75-90 minutes sessions for approximately 25 trainings.

Is there a fee for the Academy?

Players accepted into the AVID Academy would pay a monthly tuition fee which covers uniforms, equipment, and insurance for the players. The monthly fee is $50 and paid through the club’s mobile app by credit card.

Is the AVID Academy right for my soccer player?

The AVID Academy is not intended to replace or compete with existing recreational programs. It is for those families and players who are passionate and serious about soccer development and looking to take their player to the next level! These families and players want to commit to train in a structured environment with Academy staff.

How do I apply to the Academy?
